Digital grammar games should be interactive and fun while also providing quality grammar practice. You should feel confident that the games you choose to use are rigorous enough to challenge your students, while also providing enough exposure to appropriate grade-level content. I CAN Grammar Games offer all of this, and more, making them the perfect grammar activity for any classroom.
They come in two versions: a fully digital version for PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Google Forms, and the original printable games in a can, with QR codes for self-checking.

Printable I CAN Grammar Games

The original I CAN Grammar Game is literally a “Can” that contains a wide variety of questions based on a specific standard. Each question comes in 2 formats: multiple-choice and short answer. Both formats also come with and without QR codes so that students can receive immediate feedback.
These games are different from most games because the questions are rigorous and expose students to each standard in various ways. Students are not seeing the same exact question over and over again.
Each Printable Grammar Game Comes With
- 40 question cards (2 formats available: multiple-choice & short answer)
- Answer keys
- QR codes for a self-checking game
- Student answer recording sheets
- A progress monitoring checklist
- A directions page
- Game covers

The Printable Games Can Be Used For
- Literacy centers
- Small-group instruction
- Whole group review
- Independent practice
- Test prep
- Progress monitoring
- Any type of grammar review purpose

What Teachers Are Saying
“The I CAN games are easy to digitally implement, and my students love them! I especially like that there are several ways to use them. Awesome! (I bought the 3rd grade bundle, too!)” ~ Dunn 4 You
“A personal goal of mine is to include games for learning whenever possible. That has become slightly more difficult with distance learning. This has provided my class with the option to have a little fun while learning. There are many practice options so that I feel like the students were able to practice the skill, but they forget about that as they are having fun while working! Double-win!” ~ Anna Marie W.
“I love having the option of using the Google Slides or Google Forms version. I used the forms version for distance learning and plan on using the Slides version in the fall. Thank you for this awesome resource!” ~ Lisa K.
“The kids absolutely love this. I love it too. This is well worth the money. It’s easy to put together and worth the time. It’s a fun review. I haven’t tried the QR codes yet, but I’m sure the kids will be excited about that too.” ~ Melissa G.
“This has been a great resource in my classroom. I can use it independently or in a small group. The kids love the “game” aspect of it, and they really do learn a lot from completing the questions.” ~ Kacey C.
“These games are easy to assemble and the kids have loved using them! I like that I can print two different levels – multiple choice or open response – to meet the needs of all students. Thanks!” ~ Sarah H.
“Your math “I can” games are my kids favorite choice for when they are done early. My kids were so excited that there is now a language one. I already got the cans ready, but still need to laminate the cards. My kids are eager to get their hands on them. Thank you for creating this one too!” ~ Mary Jo B.
